Morning Pick Me Up

😴 // ⏳ 30

This early morning class consists of approximately 15 minutes of meditation followed by 15 minutes of gentle seated or reclined physical movements to start the day. The first portion will focus on the basics of mindful meditation and will incorporate elements of attention including breath, body, and intention setting. The second 15 minutes will include simple stretches and breath work aiming at getting the body to a state of awareness and relaxed readiness for the day. This class is offered during early hours of the day. Participants can join and live stream the class from the comfort of their bed. Having a pillow or blanket nearby is recommended.

 

The Rest Nest

Cozy up in the Rest Nest.  This 60 minute ceremony of rest is a floor based practice and might be best enjoyed in your pyjamas.  Each class may include guided meditation, gentle stretching, self massage and deluxe restorative yoga.  Please bring lots of blankets and cushions.

 

Adagio Flow

A slow and soulful movement ritual which includes fluid floor based movement and peaceful yin postures. The flow state will be savoured at an unhurried pace, and enhanced by a curated playlist of hypnotic soundscapes. Cozy up at the end of class for a guided meditation,  and melt into a deluxe savasana guaranteeing maximum nourishment and rejuvenation.

 

CHAIR LIFT

For those who feel more comfortable sitting on a chair, enjoy a full body practice that creates space in your joints, expands and settles your breathing and makes everyday, practical movements more fluid and comfortable. Great for all bodies, and especially helpful for those with movement limitations or some of the chronic conditions that can appear as our tissues age.

 

KNEAD & NURTURE

A deep yet mellow movement class that includes self-massage, feel-good therapeutic movement, and breath practices designed to improve mobility and stability while relaxing body and mind. A perfect complement to your yoga practice and ideal for runners and athletes seeking active recovery practices. Great for all levels, including absolute beginners and those working with injuries. 

 

STABILIZING INFLUENCE

Build a toolkit for stability. Using the yogic principles of breathing and grounding, find ways to improve steadiness and security as you sit, stand and move through space. Great for those experiencing balance challenges, in these wintry months or at any time of year. A class for all ages and stages. We practice with both a mat and a chair.

Take a slow, yet challenging journey toward the body’s deeper layers, as we target the tissue that surrounds and supports our joints. Move attentively into each pose, arrive at your edge and settle for awhile. Although quiet, with restorative benefits, this practice leads any and all yogis to interesting frontiers; always juicy, sometimes spicy!

This all levels power flow will get your heartbeat up and sweat flowing while keeping your mind actively engaged in the present moment. The sequence offers peaks but also valleys allowing different degrees of engagement. The intensity of overall workout is Yogi’s choice.

The 45

Yoga for all bodies, guided in an efficient 45 minute practice. Class will be dedicated to building strength through a broad spectrum and inclusive approach to modern yoga practice. Close the class with some mindful and quiet stretching and opportunity for meditation and rest.

 

Freestyle Flow 1

A sinuous vinyasa yoga class with an artful attitude and intriguing thematic arc. Thoughtful organic sequencing and care-filled language are used to hold permissive space for sweaty, sublime fun without losing a sense of grounded balance. May include chanting, meditation, kriyas, bandhas, and pranayama. An intermediate level class.

 

Vinyasa FLOW

A soulful yoga practice that will include rhythmic sun salutations, and an intelligent unfolding towards a peak posture. Hints of yoga history and philosophy will be sprinkled throughout the practice. Class may include meditation and pranayama. Taught with care and deeply inspired by Prana Flow Yoga, this class is suitable for adventurous students though modifications will also be offered.

 

Mindflow

Build functional strength with creative movement patterns inspired by yoga, tai chi, and calisthenics. We practice three different movement patterns before combining them into a flow. All at an unhurried pace. Treat this time as research into your own unique body mechanics.
