i've been clumsy most of my life
sprained ankles and wrists were the norm

i didn't know how to tune in to my body
until a serious knee injury forced me to listen

yoga as a rehab tool evolved into something deeper:
a discipline of movement and breath to approach discomfort

because healing can be uncomfortable

if we are to become more loving humans in the world
(which at this point we really have no other choice)
we must walk the path of healing ourselves
and let that spaciousness radiate from your being

so that we may navigate this wild and precious life
with warmth, kindness, and a touch of grace
