We will explore the basic and fundamental poses (asanas) including hybrid poses that have evolved over the last many years. We’ll also explore different sequencing and the placement of poses within the Vinyasa Yoga style. Learning to listen from the inside out including different pranayama (breath work) , alignment of poses, work with and without props (blocks and strap), flexibility, core stability and balance.
Yoga for Beginners will show you the meaning of effort and ease, working within your limits, honouring any weaknesses or injuries, deepen your self-awareness and offer you the foundation of a solid and authentic yoga practice. You will then have the confidence to join any practice at any studio that you may visit in your (yogic) travels.
