I was originally drawn to yoga as a tool to quiet my mind during a challenging and evolving time of my life. This era of my practice really made me appreciate the core values of yoga which was union within and without which only comes after the not so easy healing and radical self acceptance evolution. I took refuge in these principles and I honor the practice for its magical gifts.
In recent years I have tapped into the more physical spectrum of the practice following the Ashtanga and Hatha lineage and I always find it joyful to notice how the mind and the body co-relate and co-create the wholeness of our experiences. After more than a decade of practice I find yoga as a metronome by which I hear the daily and deeper status of me with no reservation or filter. I try to bring these learnings to my teachings as a communal process. I believe yoga can bring us all closer to our essence which is undeniably and deeply human.
