Botswana Yoga Safari

September 13-23, 2025

Imagine greeting the rising sun from your yoga mat as it casts a warm glow over the plains of Northern Botswana. More than the sum of its parts, this yoga safari weaves together the tranquility of yoga and meditation with an immersion the local ways of life, the unfiltered majesty of nature, and deeply moving encounters with wildlife, met entirely on its own terms. This 10-day journey promises to be the adventure of a lifetime, one that connects us to something much grander than our workaday selves and hints at the innate potential for freedom that dwells within.

Your retreat will begin and end at Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Once we cross into Botswana on Day 2, you will settle in for five nights at Munga Plains, a new private yoga safari camp located in Chobe National Park. Twice daily yoga and meditation practices on the open air yoga pavilion will be scheduled around daily cultural activities, multiple game drives, walking safaris and a river safari in a traditional dugout canoe. Our days at Munga Plains will still offer you plenty of free time to read, socialize and enjoy the pool.

The remainder of our retreat is a three-night premium mobile safari that will take you into the heart of the Okavango Delta, home to lions, leopards, African buffalo, giraffes and zebras, countless bird species, and the largest elephant population on earth. A scenic flight back to Victoria Falls will offer you a bird’s eye view of this awe-inspiring terrain before we enjoy one final night together.

Dining is an integral part of our retreat, offering a fusion of local flavours and healthy international cuisine. Our culinary experience is designed by chef Ednah Rosen, author of "A Taste of Botswana."
