Though Eagle Pose presents a number of productive challenges and unique learning opportunities, we rarely stay long enough in this standing balance to truly reap its benefits. This practice systematically moves through the pose, from bottom to top, and offers a gentle, slow motion, low stakes flying lesson. We work closely with feet, ankles, knees, hips, glutes, abs, and shoulders. This class is mellow but more educational and therapeutic than restorative. Props: massage balls, blocks, towel, bolster
