😴 meditative, regenerative, chill // 60 min. // Nicky // 🎡 Spotify

The Rest Nest goes into full hibernation mode this week with a restorative practice to aid better sleep. This practice includes a brief introduction to the practice and then 50 minutes of quiet and introspective time for yourself in three deluxe postures: Supported Reclining Pose, Supported Bound Angle Pose and Basic Rest with a Bolster.

You will need the following props:

  • a yoga bolster or firm body length cushion from your sofa

  • a single yoga block or a couple of thick hardcover books

  • at least one cozy blanket to cover yourself and stay warm

  • four - five bath towels or pillows (or extra blankets)

  • an eye pillow or something to cover the eyes.

A note to Prenatal students: You may find the near the end of your pregnancy as your belly grows, that lying on your back doesn’t always feel excellent. If so, please enjoy the final savasana relaxation cocooned on your left side with lots of pillows and bolsters to support you.
