Flow through a sweaty bird themed practice and learn about some incredible native and endangered birds from New Zealand as you go!
π£Kereru Pose (Pigeon Pose): These are New Zealand's native wood pigeons. They get drunk on berries and fall out of trees quite regularly.
π£Kotaku Pose (Flamingo Pose): Highly endangered herons with only about 120 birds left in New Zealand. Given near mythological status and respect by the MΔori people.
π£Kakapo Pose (Crow Pose): Critically endangered flightless forest parrots with an insatiable curiosity. These birds live for over 100 years and are adorable round green fluff balls. Critically endangered with only 290 individuals left today (I misspoke in the video, claiming only 140 individuals. So slightly brighter news).
π£Haasts Eagle Pose (Eagle Pose): Extinct since 1400, this gigantic bird had a wingspan of over 10 feet and the largest body weight of any raptor known to have ever lived on earth. Kind of like Gandalf's eagle.
